Kuban & Co. exists to foster the change and improvement of the lives of hurting people. They do this by helping Nonprofits create and maintain healthy lifelong relationships with their financial supporters. Their branding needed to support a humanistic feel to attract their target audience, nonprofits focusing on social services. It also needed to appear established, and timeless, reinforcing Carlie’s vast knowledge and experience in the nonprofit sector. We accomplished this by utilizing colors that communicate trustworthiness, and an illustration that represented supporting hands. Instead of a brand that demanded attention, we opted for a brand that felt like the partnership you experience with a trusted mentor and friend.
This logo suite was created to communicate trust, dependability, and kindness. I created a floral illustration to portray the growth and flourishing Kuban & Co. provides the organizations they work with. The bottom leaves are an abstract depiction of supporting hands, representing the support Kuban & Co, and their clients provide hurting populations. A classic serif font was paired with a hand drawn illustration style to ensure a timeless and elevated logo. Customization to the logo typography allowed for a more unique and elevated style. An emblem, brand icon, and horizontal variation allow for several layout, size, and detail variations. Intentional choices and strategy led us to a hand crafted and beautiful logo suite that promotes Kuban & Co’s thoughtful expertise.
We’ve worked with the one and only Madison Newman to create our new brand. It was an incredible process and I highly recommend her services for businesses looking to improve their branding and clarify their purpose.
